dont i have to twist them occassionally tho so they dont get molded into the skin?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Do not use any kind of cloth to clean your piercings (it can hold bacteria very easiy).

DO NOT USE PEROXIDE OR ALCOHOL ON PIERCINGS! Clean the piercings twice a day with dial anti bacterial soap, and make sure you're only touching them with clean hands, when you're cleaning them.

If they still give you trouble, try warm sea salt soaks twice a day.

And yes, rotate the earrings twice a day (make sure your hands are clean!)

1) My piercer gave me a pamphlet that said not to turn or rotate jewelry, that it would prolong the healing process, but why? I was always told to make sure to turn my earrings when I got them pierced.

2) Sometimes I play with it, as in I'll catch it on the back of my teeth, and kinda give it a little tug, not enough to really hurt too much, but just a tiny thing. Is this bad for it?

3) The pamphlet also said to wash it outside twice a day with a fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Is washing it more than twice unhealthy (cuz I read something somewhere about helpful bacteria)?

4) Any products I can use to clean/disinfect it outside because it has been 1 week and there is still inflammation and some pain?? What should I do about that too?

Please also state how you know these answers (i.e. it worked for you, or you are a piercer, etc.) Thanks so much!

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters 1) I have also always been told to turn my piercings. But ONLY after I had cleaned them very well, never before. I guess they tell you not to turn them now because they think that if you turn them before you clean them you can force bacteria into your ear, or get crusties inside it. ><

2) I did this as well when I got my labret pierced and it turned out just fine.

3) Yes it is not good to clean it more than twice a day. It will dry out and irritate your piercing, and not aid any in healing.

4) You can also do sea salt soaks if you like. If you want pre-mixed stuff I would say check out H2ocean.

To help with the pain you can take some ibprofin if you like.

She broke up with me quite simply because she said she did not love me anymore. During the course of all this change she complained of bad cramps and stomach sickness randomly (Not sure of in the morning) Not to mention small things of which she would never go without (jewelry) will never be worn anymore (she wore inthe shower, during sex, sleeping, swimming, working out, everywhere!) I just passed that off to the side because maybe Im just paranoid like that? But now she can barely stay awake passed 8:30 PM and all she does now is watch TV. I know she likes to watch TV but now its….non stop! Also Iv been hearing shes been eating alot more and stressed out alot more over small things and big things she doesnt seem to care about. I just need to know if these are showing symptoms of pregnancy or just myself in denial that she broke up with me.
