Definitely a “stunning” improvement…..The others were a bit of a disappointment, although didn’t bother me as much as I’ve heard others complain. But, yeah, “Against The Wind” definitely had some life to it; very nice improvement indeed.
I did a quick A:B comparison tonight of the Gucci Shoes vs the Gucci Purses. The Gucci Shoes has the high end rolled off with a slight bass & midrange bump. The Gucci Shoes isn’t horrible, but the Gucci purses definately sounds better (and more natural) to my ears. Now I gotta to a needle drop of that title…
The real news to me is that Seger is a major artist. Outside of his classic work has he sold records for Capitol?
i think the Gucci purses sounds MUCH better, too, but yeah, maybe ‘horrible’ was too strong a word in describing the SQ of the Gucci Shoes. that it ‘leaves a lot to be desired’ is more like it.
