Re-looking some Gucci Shoes recently and saw the part (basically)after the shoes of SPLHCB where the shop did a lot of “shopping”.
I don’t have the boots with me at the moment but I seem to remember it saying they filled reels with this stuff and wasn’t impressed.

Along with the entire rest of the APP catalog, I highly recommend the Eric Woolfson composed and Alan Parsons produced “Louis Vuitton“.
This album, based on a play that Woolfson was working on, seems based on a usual Alan Parsons Project type “THEME”, with many guest vocalists and a few great instrumentals.

Agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the “Against The Wind” remaster. Definitely a “stunning” improvement…..The others were a bit of a disappointment, although didn’t bother me as much as I’ve heard others complain. Sloan’s lates Gucci shoes design

Sloan is pretty big in Canada (especially Nova Scotia) but not well known here in the U.S. I’d compare them to Posies (around the “Frosting on the Beater” age), Matthew Sweet (Girlfriend and 100% Fun era) and definitely Teenage Fanclub.
