Ive had my ears pierced for about 10 years now, the other day i made 2 new holes in my lobes and pierced my cartilage…they were fine for a few days, then i washed them with a clean cloth and some soap and later on they all started hurting, i put some hydrogen peroxide ont hem and they started fizzing horribly, all of them…ive been using peroxide and alchol on them all for a few days but it seems like it isnt doing too much…i cant take out my earrings becuz i just pierced them and it would close the infection…and my old piercing i gauged to a size 14…im not allergic to any kind of jewelry, i wear about 2 lbs of braclets of every type of metal every day…so I dont know…but yeah, anyway i can cure the infection?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Do not use any kind of cloth to clean your piercings (it can hold bacteria very easiy).

DO NOT USE PEROXIDE OR ALCOHOL ON PIERCINGS! Clean the piercings twice a day with dial anti bacterial soap, and make sure you're only touching them with clean hands, when you're cleaning them.

If they still give you trouble, try warm sea salt soaks twice a day.

And yes, rotate the earrings twice a day (make sure your hands are clean!)
